I've learned from somewhere, that selecting more than one language can reduce the waiting time.
On an EU server such as Zodiark, is it worth selecting just the european languages (french and german), and ignoring the japanese one?

I think it is worth it on the EU server clusters, especially since you're more likely to have a more varied combination of English, French, and German speakers there. Most players know what do in roulette anyway, so it shouldn't be a problem.
Just get used to using the auto-translate options.
im australian playing in odin (europe server) if chose english only my wait for roulette/dungeon can range between 40mins - 1 hour
if chose all my wait time is reduced to 7mins for say hullbreaker dungeon max and mayb 10-15mins for any of the roulettes
so yeah it really helps in wait times for dungeon runs via df
It was my characters first time at Haukke Manor (on the main storyline quest). I waited just under 30 minutes, as I selected french as the second language and more likely to understand it than german.
However, I may need to get used to Halatali for the first time (syncing down to the max required level)
if ur worried about the language barrier by selecting all for first times to a dungeon u can google the dungeon video guides for that specific dungeon while waiting in df theres tons of guides around written and video for almost every dungeon and normally only 5-10mins long :3 best way to learn boss mechanics espiecally for end game stuff
