Black screen

Hello,
I just downloaded the installer, installed it, launch the game through ffxivboot and now I am stuck on the launcher.

Need help, pretty please with cherries on top.

Im having the same problem. I cant log in and nothing I've tried has worked.

Upon more digging I also found this on another forum. I did this, and then went into my internet settings and allowed first party cookies. It worked. You need to save your notepad and exit it before you relaunch the game client though or it won't do anything.

"Hmm, looking more closely at your error, I think I may have given you the wrong solution, my bad. (EDIT: If you don't have the file I'm talking about because they were deleted before, reinstall the client to get it back)
Try this:
Go to: My documents > My games > FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn
Open the FFXIV_BOOT.cfg file with something like Notepad.
Change the number next to B4EulaAgreement from 0 to 1. (Note: CAREFUL there is another line there that is "EulaAgreement" -- you need the "B4EulaAgreement" one!)
Save.
Restart the client.
Tell me if that works."

Okay I got it to work by just downloading the latest version of Internet Explorer, since the launcher is tied to Internet Explorer. I hope this will help you with the same issue!
