Thread: 2.4

Do anyone know when exactly is 2.4 going to be released? I heard the end of September now i'm hearing end of October then mid november.

Well, September's already over, so that's out of the question. I guess we'll just have to see at Fanfest...or earlier if they decide to set a release date before the big event.

It's anyone's guess, but the end of this month at the very latest, after the Fanfest.

I'd rather have them fix the housing space issue and putting money to beefing up the servers.

Merely doubling the space is almost as good as doing nothing about it. You can be sure once 2.4 hits they will be congratulating themselves for giving us a handful of lots while every other player and Free Company is locked out from housing and chocobo raising until the end of time.

SO you'd rather have more houses before you get a new primal? New dungeons to run? Final Coil? A new class? I like your priorities.

So would I. Primals are getting boring, it's the same stuff in every patch. What is wrong with wanting something different for a change. Many of us have been waiting for personal housing for over a year now.

What they did was they made I dare say, "Hardcore" and "Casual" patches every other major patch. I guess I consider myself casual, as I love fluff content and some easier stuff like CT/ST so I had my chance here in 2.3.
The raiders and stuff get there's next in 2.4. I'm sorry to say they F$^!! up personal housing. I wanted it really bad too but not willing to sell my soul for it.
They should start mixing content for every one better and I'm starting to feel like 3 months are a stretch, they also lack in-game events. At least do weekend events or some crap...

Well they said that they want add more housing spaces in 2.4 some time ago. Idk why you complaining about that.

Considering they are currently taking questions about 2.4 for the Live Letter that will occur during the Fanfest mid-late this month, I'd say that late October is the absolute earliest we'll see it. Unless they decide to do away with such things because of the Fanfest or something else, we should know it's coming sort of soon when they begin releasing teasers about new features on the Lodestone a couple weeks in advance like they have before every other major patch.

They need to patch it soon, I am falling asleep with all these lockouts and repetitive content.
