We always thought november didn't we? 3 months between major patches made it line up that way.
Pretty sure 2.3 was early July, which would make October the release window for 2.4.

At the end of a patch cycle it's only natural that people are getting a bit bored, but info on what's to come, motivates people, and SE has been serverely lacking in that area for a good while now. Just look at the Lodestone. It's filled with info about the fanfests, contests, merchandise and all kinds of things not directly related to the game.
It doesn't help that they're (seemingly) witholding info because of the fanfests, either.
And now that it looks like they're about a month behind on 2.4 ( compared to the other patches) I doubt I'll be logging on much this month.
I don't know about you but I know whats all coming for 2.4 and I can't wait for it.At the end of a patch cycle it's only natural that people are getting a bit bored, but info on what's to come, motivates people, and SE has been serverely lacking in that area for a good while now. Considering how much is being added in 2.4 and how much stuff was tacked on in 2.38, to make downloading 2.4 smoother, they can take another month if needed. I don't want a D3 situation on a big day.

What kind of events would you suggest? Not really like there's alot of things to do or celebrate outside of holidays. Do too many events, too, and you make them less events and more trivial affairs, leaving you to have to go above and beyond on the real events in order to make them stand out. It's a slippery slope you suggest there.
Probs in late december so they can make an excuse and make it look like they were trying to make it go along with december and the snow...
2.4 ( shiva posterchild ) + winter = haha guys its all relative
