when you have an alliance of 18 people and 1-2 healers for the whole 3 groups of people (18 members) is very unbalanced... and even at that you can sit in queues from 60-90 minutes to get into Front Lines. and this happens a lot.... I think it would be greatly improved if they removed they split the teams into something other then grand company ranks... team red blue and yellow.. is fine but allow the mix of grand companies to be on any color team.
Team C had 2 healers and the other 2 parties had none... LOL

Had this last night as well, but 1 healer in A and one in C, we started defeated and assumed a major loss but in the end we actually won and I have no idea how.....when you have an alliance of 18 people and 1-2 healers for the whole 3 groups of people (18 members) is very unbalanced... and even at that you can sit in queues from 60-90 minutes to get into Front Lines. and this happens a lot.... I hope they discontinue the GC vs. GC. vs. GC setup and just go with X amount of players next time.
I find I rarely wait longer than 15 mins at peak times, or should I say the early hours of the peak hours. I assume it's because people start to run coil and other dungeons/trials when their friends log on later. That's generally how I treat it too, a fun little side game to pass the time before my pve buddies log on.
Anyway, times have been this slow ever since the shininess of frontlines wore off. I haven't seen much of a difference since then. (Twin Adder on primal)

To be fair, PvP was never really alive. It was on life support when they released Frontlines, and FL just wasn't enough to keep it afloat. Honestly, who cares about wolf marks in this game when they do literally nothing for Frontlines? It's a meaningless currency. The only thing I ever used my marks for was buying up gear for desynthesis!
The PvP itself is horribly unbalanced, and will remain thus forever since it's simply impossible to balance. Tanks will never be tanks, healers will never get to do much actual healing, and DPS will always be the class of choice because a rubbish offense is better than a great defense.

It's gotta be your data center. Balmung doesn't take that long unless you're in a full party.

It also doesn't help that the only people that want PvP amount to a paltry '1%' of the game's population. I do Frontlines not because I love PvP, I don't. I do love party content and it's alot of fun to do something with others. Yeah, I don't see the opposing parties as people, I see them as 'smarter' mobs because it's how it feels. I like that, Frontlines doesn't feel like PvP to me. The goal isn't to murder eachother, it's to hold the bases and maybe kill the ancient machines. But that's not what the '1%' want, they just want mindless mayhem and that's not how you win the PvE people over.

Frontlines are not dead but they take more time to queue for sure. Now people are on Nexus farm and very soon 2.4 will come.
