How to Titan EX as a controller user?

Mainly playing on the PS4, and i have trouble with targeting the adds when the bomb spawns because it take for ever to cycle through, any tips?

Hit the cancel button to untarget Titan, then hit the OK button when you are facing the bomb you want to attack. Or use the left analog to move the camera to a location that makes the target switching easier for that phase

Another option is to assist another player that you know has no trouble targeting quickly. You can set up a macro to either assist them once you have that player targeted (/assist <t>) since targeting someone on the party list is pretty quick, and that won't get screwed up by party members switching in and out. Or you can make a macro that you change to either their name or their slot in the party list (/assist Joe Bob or /assist <3>).

Actually cleared this on PS3 as a tank way back in the day before PS4.

You should have both targets hooked to you before the bombs spawn, so targeting shouldn't be an issue. Here is what I did that should work fool-proof for you:

- Step One: Have Savage Blade/Sunder Swing ready when the adds spawn.
- Step Two: Be standing where the add spawns that you will be dragging across (Typically the one stage left of Titan)
- Step Three: Use SB/SS on that add, target it by losing your target, then just pressing "X" while near AND FACING your new target.
- Step Four: Swing your camera so that Titan and the other add are in your screen, and hit the d-pad button of your choice until you have the second add targeted (should be 1 or 2 times, bombs won't be up)
- Step Five: Use CoS/SW or Brutal Swing on the second add (off GCD skill) when you reach it
- Step Six: Use RoH/BB on the second add.
- Step Seven: Spam AoE; Flash/Overpower/Steel Cyclone/CoS for 5-6 GCDs. Mind your CDs and getting out of the mini-landslides.

If you they are up after the bombs are off you can just d-pad target them if you need to switch targets, but if they last much longer than that you are going to probably wipe anyways.

I play on PC using an Xbox 360 wired controller. One thing that I will do in order to target the adds is tilt my camera down so they are the only targetable item in my field of view and quick select them after deselecting Titan. Or if you're tanking the adds, just stand behind titan and when he spawns them there aren't any additional targets (bombs) on the field so it makes them very easy to quick select / pickup.

If you're approaching this from the targeting perspective of a melee dps or ranged, altering your camera position is always helpful as well.

Also, I want to say that if you hold down R2 and push L1 on your controller it should quick select through the current available aggro table of enemies. (I believe that is the button combination since I don't have my controller on me at work and I do that by muscle memory more than anything xD ).
