You didn't specify those optional services in your original post, however if you were absolutely desperate for subscription time, at least the option for those is still available.

Well I hope they add a way to buy Crysta using Paypal in about 6 months, because that's what I had been doing and I'm sure other people too. The first and last time I used my card directly to sub around June 2012 it got locked the next day with plenty of funds on it, luckily my bank was doing a campaign to replace old cards with newer chipped ones so it got worked out. Granted my card could have been locked exactly because all cards needed to be replaced and it might have been just coincidence, but yeah I'd rather not risk it again.

There are only two places online where I use my card directly to buy games, every other game site and especially for bundles and game time I use Paypal. Certainly won't be using it on SE sites ever again, not after reading about all the issues some people have paying with credit/debit cards either. Prepaid cards are also useless for legacy players, I won't be paying more than what I have to pay, thank you.

But time cards are not as functional as they should be. they are straight up time, nothing more and do not account for different pay structures. (IE legacy, entry level, retainers, fantasia, etc)

Felt like legacies are being bullied by SE... and non legacies too since they still play ignorant for the fact that whatever option we have now besides UGC/Playspan, it will always sucks for legacies.

And yes, I am among those who also dislike using CC.

For most of my international online purchases, I usually rely on 3rd party service which can process my local payment. But for something like this, it is hard to find solution.

And please oh please... for a million times, stop forking that game timecard things. They're making huge losses for legacies!

Yes, legacies are entitled to pay less, this is also the correct usage of the word entitled too.

Here, the processing fee is paid by the business sellers, in this case - SE, not you.
As a consumer, unless you get a card with annual fee or minimal usage fee, you don't have to pay anything unless you keep an unpaid balance.

I pay my cards off at the end of the month, have yet paid AMEX/VISA/Discover anything extra other than foreign transaction fees, which is about 2.5~3%.

They stay in business by those processing fees from the merchants and collecting interest of unpaid balances.
