    I think the current speed is ok the way it is, but well i don't play the game for too long and i only tried 1 meele class wich is lnc, just saying that with pierce, heavy thrust and full thrust and normal auto attack and tp moves, i'm never standing still waiting

    I think it's fine for now. I think we need to wait until they are done with the classes adjustments to complain about the AA speed/delay. There will be weapons with faster delays and spells like haste and probably abilities to speed up your attack speed.

    So just wait. If they put it too fast now, it would be just silly fast when they add speed/haste buffs.

    oh you mean like they didn't before. oh wait..... yes, they did. the animations now show just as well as they did before. to say something can't be done that has already been proven in this very game is absolutely false.

    Decrease cooldown of basic attacks (60 seconds? really?)
    Decrease tp gains from auto attack after increasing attack speed.

    I knew before they added auto attack that delays were going to be similar to FFXI, even tho they tried to say it will be faster. 2.4s for a 1-h dagger is pretty damn slow, and 4s for an axe is equally very slow. I was thinking more like 1.4 seconds for 1-h dagger, 1.7s for a 1-h sword, 2.8-3s for an axe, 2s for hand-hand, and 2.6-2-8s for a spear. Delays can also be modified by the quality or rarity of the weapon.

    And the stupidly high recast for the basic skills have made it take longer to get Battle Regimen's initiated.

    1.18 Basic auto-attack functionality. 1.19 tweaks and adjustments.

    I like the speed at what it is, the only real time I see any slow down is during boss fights where ability use is controlled and TP is gained slower due to less hits/dmg. I'm not attacking your opinion but perhaps if you could find other ways of occupying time between delays like using other abilities to increase your performance like Blindside, Invigorate, Bloodbath, Guild Mark attacks (Heavy Stab, Heavy Shot, Pummel etc), those kinds of things, it wouldn't feel as slow?

    I feel like I'm constantly preparing for my next swing with the new battle system so I find it hard to relate.

    So I have also noticed the slightly slower pace of the auto-attack. At the same time I also think that the current pace is fine currently. What would help is a small bar indicating when the next auto-attack will take place. This should have a small psychological effect reducing anxiety from the wait.

    IMO AA speed is good...its just the same crap it was at FFXI...but no problem...but IMO the way the other basic attacks were adjusted is the real flaw of this new battle system...when i first read about AA and saw that movie i thought "That's interesting...its slow so players can alternate the other basic attacks between AA triggers"...shame on me...it wasn't even close to what they had in mind.

    I still hope the basic actions recast is just a placeholder and that they will adjust it soon...this would fix most of the speed problems of the current battle system.
