People kicking new players for watching cs's.....just stupid.

How is this still going? It is rude to kick new players for watching cutscenes, simple as.
You can't complain if you use DF or Roulette for dungeons if someone is watching a cutscene. You will get new players sometimes in those.
You want your roulette bonus as fast as possible you say? Remember, part of the reason roulette was implemented in the first place was so new players would get parties for the older content. Not so you could farm tomes quicker. The tome bonus is your incentive to do older content.

You don't like that, then stick to PF groups.

You should be glad there are even still first-timers who want to view the story scenes at all. It means new players are still coming to the game, and the population is still growing -- which is what drives the developers/publisher to create new content and features at a steady rate. Once the population hits its peak, there is nowhere to go but down. Then updates become sparser, more "cash shop" style puchases get pushed at you, and the downward slope of subscribers gains momentum.

In other words, those of you who want to enjoy the benefits of a growing population and frequent content patches are being hypocritical if you begrudge newbies and give them a hard time. You expect these people to somehow gain interest, enjoy the leveling/endgame experience, and learn the mechanics as you did -- but you expect it to happen in someone else's DF queue.

I understand and know because I have been at the receiving end of such abuses in this game, yet I could give a rat ass about it. You mix up real life and virtual life that alone is a huge problem and this should never happen, this troubles me alot especialyl coming from an educator, you should know that both arent the same.

It is dumb to throw someone out of DF because not good or or or or....but equally you wouldnt want to associate with those people so best that you are not there. SE doesnt give a rat ass about it, so really just move on and end of story.

But please, do not mix up real life and virtual life, those are two different worlds and besides, you cannot control if people are mature enough (I dont speak of age here) to understand that nobody holds control over you especially not in a virtual world, if people cant see the difference it rests with them, abuses happen if entity that controls this game is not willing to do anything to prevent those, then really there is nothing you or me can do other then move on and shrug it off. You are also not responsible for how others react, you can only inform but in no way make a comparison between real life and virtual life in a game more so.

100% this. Don't start mixing the real life issue of online bullying with someone getting kicked for viewing a cutscene. it over-generalizes the issue, to the point where the same fact pointing can go both ways. last thing we need is some speedrunner saying "Forcing me to watch cutscenes and wasting my time is bullying". it isn't, either way.

Bringing it up is borderline off topic. lets get back to the main point, being that there is a fine line between people wanting a speed run,. and people wanting to watch cutscenes. in short, what we should be telling SE is that cutscenes shouldn't be in the middle of dungeons, they should be confined to before and after. let us stand united in this front.
