We so need a right click report feature. No I don't wanna hear SE does have a report feature; it's very involved. When I am fishing for big fish I sometimes have a 2 min window to catch it, then move on to another 2 min window. And not having a right click report feature is just plain not caring for the real players. SE CAN do it. Make it easier for the players to report the goldsellers and bots.

This so much. Even if it was just an additional step I could take after blacklisting them. "I see you're blacklisted "user". Do you want to report them?" And take it from there.

It would make it a lot easier, but just remember this one thing:

SE didn't give us the right click > blacklist feature for so long because they were scared that we would blacklist our friends.
If they think we are that stupid (and some honestly are), I really suspect that we won't see a faster report feature anytime soon...if ever.

General masses aren't skilled enough to click a correct name after all, only concentrating on the name as you go through the silly report process for a RMT spammer will ensure that you don't mix up "Lsldflawyasdf Ahaudifahf" with "Winter Solstice", because you know, those are rather similar and hard to tell the difference between.

You're not wrong, but we can't assume that would be profitable enough for the RMT's to keep doing that. Having to buy the game each time would be a rather large cut out of their profits if they are banned at the frequency that they are found out. SE might want to keep the steady inflow of money coming in from them, rather then risking the RMTs just abandoning this game because they can't make a profit from it.

Just speculation and possibilities, none of us know for sure what on earth SE is doing.

RMT don't actually buy all their accounts, a lot of them are hacked, quick password change and a character can be stripped in no time. Even people who are careful can get hacked, all it would take is a major fansite to get hacked, and malicious code inserted and we could have a hacking outbreak like the old ffxiclopedia hack. Hacked accounts are free gil for RMT, best thing is for everyone to stop buying gil, but we know that won't happen.

Well apparently since no one cares, SE being one of them, why not buy gil. Seriously I'm sure alot of people are doing it, what the heck if you can get away with it.

I wonder if someone went to where the bots were spirit bonding and got the claim first with a quick AoE like Miasma II and then did nothing and the boys killed the enemies- would this help the real player spiritbond and at the same time slow down spiritbonding rate for the bots?

If the bot gets in 30% or more damage, pretty sure they still get SB, just like they'd get XP. So if they're set up to attack claimed mobs, you'd have to do damage fast enough to keep them from doing that much.

Depending on the bot, you can shut them down regardless, though. I outclaimed a bot in the tunnel to Urth's Whatever killing bats for a while. It just never attacked the bats I claimed at all. So that effectively shut it down while I was there.
