are you serious?so far i have done levelling my classes and doing PvP and so far i have seen the same 9 names crop up everywhere i did a titan hard mode 4 of them were bots who jumped off at the very beginning each wearing the same items same looks, go into Wolf's den my party deal 0 damage and 0 heals except for me who is trying to play and trying to win regardless of being in a team of bots while the opposing team just take there time in killing us, and in front lines i have gone in to where a WHOLE ALLIANCE, was just bots, who did nothing,
so far the bots are seeming to get worse, and no amount of people reporting them has gotten rid of these, SE may be dealing with RMT bots, but so far i have seen a increase of bots in instances from meny different servers. and wasting say a hour in waiting for a team that basically gives you the middle finger and no hope of winning, is a major kick to the nads.
if this is the truth, SE will be my most hated game publisher for mmorpg
will avoid after subs expired
sadly this is true, i stopped PvPing today because it has just killed my mood of PvPing when i feel like theres no chance in hell for me to even have a fair fight, while half the team or all the team are bots, its not got me watching my allies just to see if any are bots or human players.
No point at all. I've stopped reporting long ago since SE doesn't care that they are there.Over and over and over again. They even have their own fc name, everybody on the server knows their botting. They blatantly do it and do not hide it at all. They stand around the summoning Bell and bot.
Whats the point in me and everybody else reporting these guys if they just let them get away with it...
Watching them for a few minutes makes it obvious to anyone with even half a brain.I've said this in a previous thread...unless they're teleport hacking what is it they're doing that can be considered beyond a shadow of a doubt botting? Doing the same thing over and over for six days is suspicious but it isn't against the ToS and unless you're on for the same six days straight nonstop watching them you don't know that they aren't logging out like a normal person. I know people who craft/gather for hours on end and would satisfy the requirements for being a bot that these forums have in their heads. Back and forth from the same nodes over and over and over with a Busy sign over their head and not talking or anything. This is not something easy for the GMs/Task Force to deal with.
Just an update, the NBO FC botting crew is still going strong on Balmung. Still in the same place day after day after day.
So the only thing that I can think of is SE doesn't care if you bot so go for it guys bot away.....
any response from the letter?
I don't buy gil, so why do I have a bot problem?
They have obviously been a problem for so long that I must consider them one of the features of FFXIV. Great music, nice friendly chat, excellent NPC dialogues; shame about the the bots. Perhaps there should be a guide for newcomers to help them identify real player characters.

What is "MPK"?
Anyway, I've reported a mining bot months ago with a friend of mine - yesterday they encountered the same bot again, mine botting as usual. Very disheartening, I'd expect a pay to play title to actually do something about bots. The amount of crap they get away with here would maybe be acceptable in a F2P game, but for a P2P it's really shameful.
