Thank you, stacks would be great! There are several restrictions for items that are classified as event items or key items. How players obtain these items is one of those restrictions. Since atma is an item that you obtain upon completing a FATE, it uses a special system, so it would be difficult to transform it into an event item. For now, there are no changes planned. Should anything change, we’ll be sure to let you all know.
Also, I’ve passed along the desire to have atma of the same type stack in your inventory as well.
Sounds like you are heading down the right path. But just a heads up, 3 star crafting takes a whole new set of materials. So when you do get to that point, you may have to give up that furniture storage. Assuming you enjoy crafting as much as I do.I instantly vendor / MB any spare materials I have that are sold by common NPC vendors, as most market prices are in or around the same range. Saves stress and doesn't cost too much time, since the FC house and Beast Tribe vendors take care of a lot of the annoying ones (like ingots and cloth and so-forth). I do this the same and have all crafters almost to 50, and even with one dedicated to food and leather, I still have half my 4th retainer empty for furniture.
I don't keep things I don't use. I don't keep things that can be bought on a vendor. (rank 8 all tribes) I synth all raw materials once per week, since I use them all at least that often. I spend the majority of my time crafting things for other people and the rest is spent gardening and gathering. Just because I am a master crafter doesn't mean I don't continue to help other people. So in addition to all the normal level 50 materials, I have to have a whole new set of materials for 3 star. Add to that: tokens, atma, marks logs, oils, sands, demimateria, oaknots, ventures, materia, seeds, soil, and now rare untradable dyes. So I don't even have space to store vanity items.
oh and bait... :/

Why would it need to be an event item? It just needs to be a key item so it can go to that inventory tab. Drops use a special system, so the item can't be a special item...? Idek what to make of that. Idek what to make of this reply. There are several restrictions for items that are classified as event items or key items. Stacks would be awesome though, thanks for that. Though I do wonder why nobody seems to have thought of it...
And yes, for the love of Menphina, increase the drop rate already please. It's high time.
He's saying that they are currently a FATE item, like the Titan Mithrilshields and Kafre's Tusk that you get for Beast Tribe quests. These items are all treated the same, there are no FATE obtained items that are treated as Key items so they would have to implement an entirely new system to separate the two obtainment methods and identify them differently. So it's a lot more work than just changing the definition of the item. Why would it need to be an event item? It just needs to be a key item so it can go to that inventory tab. Would most certainly be great if these items would fall in the key item category. The game is overloaded with items enough as is.
