    Incorrect I restated mine to 40, 26, 9 and I got 41, 27, 9. Also there is no proof we will get that point back, if anything we will be missing more points with the next I lvl increase

    No, it's what Lithera said.

    Basically look at it this way: if going +5 item levels = 50% of a stat point, +10 item levels (the step after nexus) would be 100% of a stat point and you would get the point you missed out on. You just don't get it now because it gets rounded down. Notice that this is only really an issue with the stats that have lower numerical values like Determination, because there are less increments for it to increase.
