If you really have to be that hostile toward me and read it like that, then you might as well ignore the rest of the post.

>No, the best weapon shouldn't be obtained in a week... yet extremely competent people can breeze through the coils and have RNG shine on them on T9 and drop high allagan weapon (which was BiS for a long while now).

> Again, I wasn't even talking about Nexus, I'm talking about Atma. Me and some people can chew through around 300 or so FATEs and still not see an Atma drop. I ended up with around 75 or so of each Titanshield from OLN and that's excluding the non-kobold FATEs. Again I agree something like this shouldn't be a trivial step or a quick process unless people are actually dedicated to it, which can be said for animus, novus or nexus since you can literally grind it out (and someone getting nexus as early as 3 days after release). Can't say the same for Atma because you're at the mercy of RNG. Someone who gets all 12 within 2 days or 100 FATEs didn't put in more effort than someone who got 12 in 621 now, did they?

>And as for the slippery slopes thing, I haven't seen any topics or complaints about the myth costs of Animus books...so your example is fitting into the slippery slope imo. Titan getting easier is because of it being old content and that people are overgearing it, much like how T9 will be (somewhat) easier when they shove 20% echo and people's waltzing in there with Ilvl 110 regular tomestone gear Was there a direct nerf to Titan that I haven't heard about?

If this is the purpose SE had in mind, then nothing should unfortunately change. Pretty much it's working as intended.
I need citation, but I recall someone mentioning that they had delayed the new step of the relic questline (believe it was Novus) because not enough people had their weapons upgraded (specifically atma and animus)
