    Please fix character shaking on slopes!

    I don't know how SE calculates surface collision detection in their game engine, but it causes both my character and my character's name to violently shake when walking down a slope, as if my character were rapidly going down tiny stairs. Demonstrated in this video.

    Every time I see in the patch notes that there's been a change to environment collision detection, I get my hopes up that it's been fixed, but it's been this way since closed beta at least.

    It's extremely distracting and takes away a lot of the immersion from the game.

    Please fix this!

    Also I've tried capping my framerate at less than 60fps and it still happens, so it's not a framerate issue.

    I agree. It just looks so horrible. It really takes you out Eorzea and reminds you that you're playing a game that is really far from finished.

    I don't notice it now really, but I've noticed a few jerky movements like that, camera zoom is a bit clunky imo too.

    It seems the game uses simple heightmaps for this. There's probably a bug in the interpolation for points inside the quad. The system is pretty broken if you remember the people in Ul'dah walking through the air...

    I believe this is one of the few issues no one from Com reps or Dev Team have acknowledged at all... unless I missed it, but this is very annoying and definitely not normal. Please look into it and find a fix, Thank you.
