I'll admit that this is an extreme example. The point I am trying to make is that any mechanic in a game needs to be desirable for a large enough group of people for it to be worth it development wise as an enticement to keep players coming back. I am merely trying offer an alternative solution rather then the ad nausem argument of "drop rates."
