One very annoying thing in Final Fantasy XIV is the fact that the Action Bar loses focus when an enemy is defeated. This is often not an issue, but if you use targeting mode b it can be somewhat annoying at the end of a battle.

I often keep things set to targeting enemies only, sometimes after a battle (or in preparation for the next battle) I want to swap action bar rows. The issue here is that during battle the up and down arrow keys are used for this but the very moment that I don't have a combat target, the function of the up and down arrow keys is changed and will change my target 'filter' because the action bar loses focus. If I press a key to use an ability I can change rows again rather than my 'filter' but this has become a bit of a nuisance.

My current suggestion to this issue would be to change the way that players shift their target 'filters' in targeting mode b, instead of using the up and down arrows, I believe that SHIFT+Up and Shift+Down should be used to change them whereas in this mode (and hopefully others) the Up and Down arrows will be used exclusively to change rows on the action bar as long as a menu is not open.
