Can't decide between lalafell or miqo'te ;;

So after getting a neat black skirt to drop (acolyte's skirt), I suddenly remembered that lalafell look rather awkward when attacking with a skirt... or when running with one. Just another thing to add to our list of potato anatomy problems with clothing. x___x
Once again I'm thinking about going to the dark side (race change to miqo'te), even though I'll miss being the short one in groups and I'll no longer stand out. But at least my anatomy will look alright and I'll have cute ears (hopefully the weird + shape that the fluffy tail has at the end wouldn't bug me too much).

Oh and I have to ask... do female miq'ote always wear skirts that are way too short? As in when you move, you'll see her panties? Is the acolyte skirt safe from this? That is a major 'no-no' for me if so, lol. :P I'm asking because of the starter outfit, I'm really not sure how they look in regular skirts anymore. It's been too long since I've played as one.

Oh and screenshots of either race looking adorable would be amazing for helping me decide. Especially in glasses... xD

Oh I just realized I probably should've posted in general, I'm not even new. Oh well, lol. ^^;

I kind of feel like these smaller races are being done a disservice by making the mounts all small for them as well. I kind of feel like the mounts should be almost all the same size for all races.

Unfortunately a lot of skirts in the game do lean more towards the mini/micro variety - the starting racial leg wear for miqo'te women is a pleated mini, and even the acolyte's skirt is a (admittedly cute) leather mini. And yes sadly, they do sadly have a tendency to show a little too much underneath when running or in battle.

If it's too short for your liking, there is always the spring skirt which is the other extreme - it's very conservative and ankle length, as it's meant to go with the spring dress, which is a Regency-style gown. I really like the spring skirt myself as it really suits my character (it goes beautifully with the PLD AF body for one thing) - battle ballgown indeed.

Also the acolyte's skirt is Disciple of Magic only - there is a version for Disciples of War which is white (the foestriker's skirt), but it's pretty much the same appearance wise. If I remember rightly there are also similar skirts that are the same basic design but can be crafted and dyed and naturally don't have the same class restriction.

Well you like it Furry you pick Miqote, but if u like it Loli u pick Lalafel:P. I would prefer Lalafel over Miqote they are more uniqe since 70% of the Players running Hyuan or Miqote.

Thanks for that... maybe I'll just stick with lalafell then. I've found that the green top that goes with it (totally forgot the name) hides the back of it for me so I don't have to look at it while fighting or running, and it looks so cute with it from the front view. I've seen WHMs wearing similar tops but much more fancy and awesome, so I guess I can just look forward to that in the future. c: Oh and I know of the long skirt and I do plan on buying it (especially for when I feel like tanking >:3), but I generally prefer short skirts and shorts. Just not so short that people can clearly see what's under the skirt.

Actually the small mounts are partially why I love lalafell so much. They're so much cuter for some reason, and they feel a little faster. :3

I totally love furry, but I really wanna be short and cute. Also now that I know mini skirts show off my panties as a cat or probably nay of the taller races... I think I'll stay as a lala. c: Even if it is kinda hard finding outfits that looks nice on my potato anatomy. I've actually never really been into the loli thing... which might be odd to say seeing as how that's kinda the type of character I like to play in MMOs, lol.

Well i made some sort of a Tomboy Charackter but i understand your opinion i also think about switchig to Elezen but they are such tall and maybe i regrett it also if i think they are cute in my opinion. You also think about u are some sort Gnome/Dwarf race they are almost very small tiny and maybe potato like :P. Also in he Story progress i like the Sultana shes very cute if she gots on the Arm of that Warrior dunno his name now.
