    good bye FFXIV, thanks to the lag, you lost another customer.

    Ever since the update at the beginning of the year, the lag has been getting worse and worse. to the point that i cant even play at night. the fact that i need to pay for another program such as WTFast to resolve the issue is an insult. so ya, thanks SE for the remake of a beautiful game that started great, but now is garbage in my eyes.

    Well since you're blowing air and venting at the game. I wanna warn you about the Internet provider slipping into your wallet and swiping your money while redirecting your packet flow to the bad part of the net. Just as they planned.

    Yep, yet another person that doesn't understand how the internet works but thinks they do. There's a direct cable between my computer and SE's servers -- if anything is wrong it's 100% SE!!!!

    After having trouble with trying to be a DPS and failing at it, I made an attempt to go back to WHM. Sadly, the lag has been killing me she doing content, which causes wipes.

    Like others have said to me, maybe it's just a sign to move on and leave this game behind me. I feel like I'm just full of excuses in why I can't do this or why I have trouble doing that.

    SO are you quitting because of lag or no teamspeak provider? http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...since-PS3-beta...

    Seriously people if you quit, than stop hanging out in the forums after the fact.

    LAG is created by the provider throttling down your connection during peak hours, ill assume that the people that have lag are using subpar providers /stares at at&t and comcast

    ive done all these. and i know how "the internet works" The issue seems to be partly on both parties. prior to the update in December/February the game ran great at peak hours. once the update came out, that's when the connection crapped out. so i came to one of the 2 conclusions.

    1. SE is using a new network route to connect the games to its servers since the update which is causing the issue. and to resolve it they will need to revert it back but may not want to due to pricing they have to pay for the connection path.

    2. Verizon with level3 conflict that is causing the issue. As i know MANY people on the verizon network is having this issue. verizon is well aware of the issue. so yes it could be an ISP issue. but they could do what they did in the past with comcast and FFXI and actually contact them to help get the issue resolved quickly. but that doesn't seem to be happening.

    so yep. im done.
