Fix ATMA drop [LIKE] Thread

Fix what? It isn't broken. I've completed 2 Atma weapons already. Considering starting on my 3rd.

No need, if you want the goods get out there and grind my friend. Please stop whining about atma, I personally am 7/12 on my 2nd set, I just q a dungeon and hit the fates for a while. What do you do while you wait for duty?

5% DR is a good rate. Leave it be.

If players really try to do the FATEs and went solo (with or without Chocobo) they will get their Atmas faster.

Doing a FATE or two and calling it quits will get you no where like 45% of the players have been doing. If you want loot and good gear handed to you, go play WoW.

My set of Atma took me about 4 days hardcoring (~12 hour days) to collect. I'm sure most people would be able to collect a full set of Atma at a more leisurely pace in a week or two no problem if they don't procrastinate.

It's not that the drop rate is so low that Atma is unrealistic to obtain, but rather the sense of progress isn't very consistent throughout the ordeal and it can be quite boring.

I spent more time trying to get Atma in Central/Eastern Thanalan than every other zone combined and I was ready to pass out from boredom at times.

I concede that some may have worse luck and some may have better luck, but overall the drop rate isn't that bad if you just go out there and seriously farm them. Most of the people I know that have problems getting them go out there and expect to get a drop in 20 - 30mins and give up when they don't get it. It was very rare for me to get one in this time frame, usually it would be between 3 - 5 hours for one with some going on well over 10 hours to get. It all averaged out though with the few I got in a couple of fates, but to be honest this was the easiest part of the zenith - nexus upgrade process. The 3 animus took about a month of farming each, the two novus took about a month and half each, and nexus is looking to be about 3 - 4 weeks of farming each (only about half way done with my first nexus).

Holy crap I've long since held this opinion on majority of the people complaining about atma. I've known very few people that struggle for anything longer then a week on a set but they put hours upon hours into tackling this content daily. People do expect to farm these for very little time and get one.

Actually grinding FATEs instead of moaning about the drop rate on here.

Maybe he continued to farm the next atma set the moment a relict weapon got upgraded to Atma.
It is not that it need a whole month to farm 12 atmas with average luck. Maybe 2 weeks with not a lot of idle between the FATEs.
