Go in blind and do as much dmg as possible as fast as possible to trigger as many mechanics as possible. Review and stabilize ability to progress to that point, then repeat till you get to the end.

I usually don't touch endgame much unless I know that I'm ready to face it so it mostly gearing up and managing my time first before jumping into Endgame.
Well I love that I see people still trying it on their own without guides and stuff atleast to start with. I just wish that people that join on PF which clearly states blind run would understand this.
We tend to go in with little knowledge of the fight, see as to what happens. A few tend to watch some downing videos afterwards if available. Seeing as to how indepth strategy guides tend to not quite be available yet at that time, we often end up having some less common tactics in the end. Taking in a replacement PUG may then also quickly lead to them dying. But also within our own FC the developed strategies in between raiding groups can greatly vary.
For low difficulty content I'll go in blind (preferrably with other members of my FC); but for high difficulty stuff I'll always watch a video, preferrably MTQcapture's. From there it's all about adapting to whatever strategy's become prominent beyond that, because I'm pretty quick to learn and adapt.
And finding a party that can actually clear it, because, well, my work schedule's too erratic to participate in a static so I have to rely on Duty Finder. As a result, I feel like the least I can do on my end is try to be at least aware of what I'm walking into when I join a learning/going for clear party.

I'll do a quick watch of MrHappy just to know what each move does. Then I'll watch a couple POV videos of my class and that usually allows me not fuck up after my 2nd attempt.
1. Realise with my gear level, I am more than ready to start Coil.
2. Watch some MTQ videos.
3. Spend a moment to imagine having to learn these mechanics with the abusive assholes DF attracts in my party.
4. Nearly uninstall game.
5. Remember I don't have to do this.
6. Be sad I won't get to see the story or wear the good-looking gear any time soon, but okay.
7. Go back to Crystal Tower, which is still peppered with abusive shits, but is at least perfectly do-able even if I'm a little tired or distracted or just not having a top day.
But seriously, for Crystal Tower, I just go in blind because it's a mostly forgiving place and I do it simply because I enjoy the dynamics of a 24-man group.
Anything beyond that, I will watch a video, because ARR has a tendency to drown important mechanics in effect spam, but I'm not gonna pretend for even one second that that remotely compares to actually doing the fight. If I had a static, I'd be just fine going in blind and only pulling up a guide if something completely stumps us. Failing repeatedly is just part of Raiding to me, I'm not scared of it.
Depends. If it was just added that day (my preferred time to run things), I'm going in blind like everyone else with a big grin and earnest hope we survive.(This covers CT, not Coil)
For stuff that's been out a while, I may try to look at a guide or two but it doesn't really stick or they make no sense anyways. I'll wait until I'm feeling brave and my friends are feeling patient and I'll give it a try. Anyone who can break fights down into pieces while I'm staring at the enemies is really appreciated. <3
