I noticed you brought up the ver 1 merges, I like how you did the explanation, thank you for that. I have even done a search for my main character (not the one showed as my avatar)and noticed that mine was at the bottom of the list, does that make it the first one made? or is it just listed randomly?
Check achievement history, set to sort by oldest. Most people get their first achievement (Storyteller I or whatever) on their first day.
