It's about time to add Coil story mode, isn't it ?

People here keep saying they play Final Fantasy games for the story that's an important note but their not all easy are they? No they aren't but this is an mmo and your asking for a story node to coil when it all ready has a story,it all ready us in place,its been beaten by people. But your asking this now I don't know how long ago but your asking them to take time and money away to redo the whole thing so that there are 2 separate modes,yes this is what your asking and its what it would do.

The story for coil just ties the stuff together it you can't really have anything good with out having a story in some where.

This is my main and really only problem with what your asking for, there is not really enough end game stuff for right now besides coil and extream primals. If they do what your asking for right now it will take development time and money away from developing much more stuff at the moment no this is not a good idea. Perhaps one day you can have this but not yet.

Also you say that there won't be people interested in old content. Well when the expansion hits we will most likely be seeing a lot of new players so stop saying no one will be interested and let the developers put their time into outing out more stuff please.

The equivalent would be going from jenova absolute to a back to back fight with ruby and emerald weapon.

Perhaps I was not clear enough in my explaination but I'm not talking short term interests in Coil but a long term interests in Coil. There will always be people interested in stuff like Coil but the amount of people interested in it may not be at the level as it is now due to being old content and currently the amount interested in coil is not a lot compared to the majority of FF14 population. As time pass the amount of people interests in it may only decrease over time even with a supply of new players it may not cover enough to supply enough groups for Coil at a regular amount of time.

Right now in 2.X era and 3.X era Coil may remain within the boundry of steady population of players entering it due to the constant supply of new players both casual and hardcore within the lvl 50 and soon to be lvl 60 range. However, long term wise the amount of people entering coil may most likely decrease since it will lose the value of repeating coil beyond vanity and Coil Storyline most likely near the end of 3.X era or 4.X era.

Coil was not designed to be sustained for a long term lifespan after all and only served to survive within a short term life span of 2.X and early 3.X era as endgame content.
