It's about time to add Coil story mode, isn't it ?

They are already adding it for 3.0. A Normal mode version of the Alexander raid that is like playing with echo/nerfs for the more casual players to see the story. The hard core players will get the hard mode Alexander raid for the actual raid gear drops. So yes you will get your story mode in 3.0.

I am pretty sure it will be very similar to how the last 3 primals are handled now. You have your story mode, Levithan, Rahmu, and Shiva, but they always called them hard mode, they don't have too many mechanics and you can power through them without wiping much. Then you get the Extremes which are actually a lot harder have mechanics you have to do or wipe, but then you get gear.
