    What would be the harm in a "story mode" that's not any easier but just doesn't have any loot?

    Nobody would be getting any kind of hand out... you just wouldn't be punishing people who have a hard time finding dedicated statics (which is the biggest hurdle here, not difficulty).

    This would also allow FCs with established coil statics to help their members learn the fights. Those members could then join other coil PUGs much more easily.

    Wasting development time because people are incapable of practicing and learning this fight even with a 20% echo in gear upwards of 20 iLevels over what people had before the nerf. Especially when I ~130 gear will be available in a month.

    It's not that hard. I've literally, in the last 2 months, seen a few people try the fight for the very first time and get a win within the week. At some point along the way people just start making excuses for those who aren't trying hard enough.

    Something you know absolutely NOTHING about. You have literally zero idea what it takes to do what you suggest.
    I do know it takes far less time when recycling resources, and a story mode could be built upon almost 100 percent recycled resources. All that changes is the end, because loot drops are disabled.

    It would be a very worthwhile use of dev time, especially considering the large number of players who could be more involved in this content.

    However, I am in the opinion that any time, even 1 minute, is too much time spent on this regardless of how easy it may or may not be.
    Ah, so it's not me, it's you.

    Isn't that a rather illogical stance, considering the devs currently spend far more dev time working on something that only a fraction of the playerbase can do because of completion lockouts? If you really believed in what you're selling, then you would want SOME kind of change to happen in order to make this dev work more worthwhile.

    The crazy amount of excuses coming from people who don't try hard enough are the problem here. People don't want to work for anything anymore. It's sad and you should probably go play something else if it's so difficult to put even a little practice time in or alternatively you fail to put enough effort in to make friends to help you. This thread is literally asking for a handout that should be unnecessary. The whole "some players aren't that good" excuse is terrible as well. I've literally seen players beat this fight who normally I wouldn't even want to take into an extreme battle because either their ability to handle mechanics is poor or because they are generally just very poor at their job. It's a giant excuse that holds no water when people in that position have and do complete this fight.

    Good luck in the second coil. If you guys think t5 was bad you're in for a rude awakening.
