Well insulting is probably too much. I, honestly get annoyed if someone fails more than few times on the same mechanic, but insulting doesnt help, i just leave quietly.
I understand you gotta learn a fight but i wont stand there until you do. Try until you succeed theres no secret or hell, even ask your friends to carry you if "you suck at memorizing" so much.


But dw, at some point our gear will make EX fights as easy as how HM are now, you should try it again then.


Ill just add that if you really want to see Coil story so much wait until the gear will allow you to fail without impacting the run. It doesnt have to be "now", by adding some stupid easy mode.

Actually you already can fail T1-5 without impacting the run. I sell carry runs with my FC and we basically 6-7man T5 every times by telling the buyer(s) to kill themselves at the beginning of the fight.

I myself, gave up on it. Not worth my time spending hours and dealing with latency TWC issues.

I agree with OP, and there is no downside to having a story mode.

I thought story was the reward for progressing in an RPG? You certainly weren't doing it for the loot, because it didn't matter to the same degree that it does in an MMORPG.

Nope, I do my weekly coil for the loot. If it was for the story, who would run it over and over again every week?

In a RPG the crux of the story is a reasonable run through without excessive challenges - if you want the loot, the ultimate weapons and stuff, you have to deliberately grind certain contents in order to get them.

No amount of echo or gear will make Titan EX or BCoB easier. They all include mechanics that one-shot you if you don't..well..know the mechanics!

By listening to you since you pay your sub, you guys deserve to have content handed to you simply because you wont or cant put enough effort/time into it ? Just watch walkthroughs on YT then, All content is available right now there.

Whats wrong with that ? The whole thread is about being able to see Coil story, not getting good at it.
They get to see the so wanted story while my FC make millions.
Ex runs and T5 arent really expensive anymore so we better expend our services soon especially with NIN coming out soon.

I'm not sure it would be a good idea. It would just be like finding a party to go through ramuh or levi hm. People who have already cleared them wouldn't be interested. I'm not even sure that a story mode coil could still be considered a "raid" if they eased it as suggested by OP. They could turn it into solo-quest then or just add coil cutscenes to your diary so you can watch them with your character.

Maybe, it would be different if they designed it to be like garuda ifrit and titan hm where you can still wipe if the party doesn't know what to do.
But these are just my 2 cents ..

Its true this is not the best solution, ill give you that. The best is to just play the damn game the way it is rather than beg for something that isnt a "PROBLEM" at all.
