If there can be a Savage Mode, I don't see why they can't do a Story Mode for those on the other side of the spectrum. Come on, what the OP suggested is not going to give any drops, it wouldn't ease the access to the new turns, and it would make happy quite a lot of people it seems. Gear upgrades and the echo buff can't help you with some of the mechanics, nor with people that for any personal reasons can't perform well (yes, they do exist and that doesn't make them any less than someone else).
YouTube is not going to help these people. They don't pay the game to go watch a YouTube video made by someone else featuring said person's character. They pay to play the game and see it by themselves. They may not have the time or the skill to beat it as it is but, as I say, if there can be a Savage Mode I think that these other people should get their own version too.
A game should be made for all its players, not for the hardcore, not for the casuals, not for the "pros", not for the "noobs", not for the PvPers, not for the "carebears", and not for the "whateveryouwanttocallsomeoneelse". Why do you always have to be against anything that doesn't fit your very own playstyle? If it makes sense and it doesn't detract from the other playstyles, as it's the case, support it and let other people have something to enjoy the game to the same level that you do, FFS.
Maybe it will require some time and some resources, yes, but I can assure you that it would require way less resources to simplify it for what has been suggested than to make the harder versions. And it would last way more than said versions, as I'm sure that the Story Mode would be the one that most people would play in the coming years when it's obsolete (to see the story quickly and start playing the relevant content at that time), not the Savage or Normal Modes that will only be really meaningful for a couple of months to a year, max..
I'm all for it. Let everyone see the content, even if it's a year after it's released (as it's the case of T1-5).
