I'm going to call it now by saying even if you implemented those changes. People would still complain that it's too hard.T5 as an example :
get rid of twister, make DS not apply the heal debuff, reduce the damage of fireball by 1/3rd. story version that should take about less time than new dubbed down mechanics to create and really low investment on players to clear to enjoy the story. Would even be possible to make it for 2.4 to give access to all to SCoB when TCoB comes if needed
