The "story mode" will be as difficult as post echo coil. So no it wont be free cutscenes to everyone, no matter how terrible they play. Will still need to learn the fights and put in some effort to win it. Which, as proven, many won't.

Whoever thinks Alexander(Normal) is going to be a walk in the park and free cutscenes are going to be very disappointed. Willing to bet a lot of groups are not even going to pass normal mode until a patch later. There is more factors to take in like having to learn mechanics, get proper gear since everyone will be a new lv.60 and will not start with the best gear possible to start these raids. Not to mention, if SE decides to change the dynamic of how fights go, it is a learning curve all over again. We also have new jobs that we may want to learn to utilize and people learning new rotations from added abilities to their job. I can keep going on, but no, you are not going to beat normal mode quickly, I can almost guarantee it.

Yeah problem. This thread was relevant a year back. It was already no longer relevant when it was upped 5 month ago because we had received words about a story mode raid, thus the demand had been granted already and further discussion about its relevance was... pointless, at that time.

Now if you want to discuss about the relevance of Alexander NM's difficulty, there are threads about it. This thread has served, and is now to be considered dead. Thanks for not necro'ing any further <3

Coil story is optional. If you cannot do it then you are not meant to experience it.
If it is soooo important to you then hit up YouTube.
Either way stop asking for yet another casual handout.

Let's be clear, to cut off the undergoing superiority complex. This would not be meant to give rewards of any sort other than the right to experience by ourselves the story of the game. Youtube ? And before saying that the story is "optional", maybe you should once again remember the story of the coil and how much it's related to the Carteneau's battle. Some of us care about lore. I guess you don't. I do.

If you can't win turn 5 with 20% echo, it's not twintaina its you. There are only 4 or 5 mechanics that 3 or 4 mechanics that will murder you. Everything else is recoverable if you fail at it.

This is obviously a bad example but you see the point. Remove things just to make sure anyone can reasonably have a chance to do it without the dedication needed for regular coil and that's it.

I never said if I can do it, you should be able to too. But in this case you should be able to! Conflag, run into fire or onto soak group, profit. Dive bombed, wait for divebomb dot or the sound, run forward then back, profit. Twister, have focus target on , move , profit. It's stupid how easy t5 is.
