The only open turns that are "difficult" atm are 5 and 9 because of instant death/lose mechanics. With ilv increase and echo coil the open coil turns are reeeeeeeaaaaalllllyy easy. I understand people just want to go through for story but at point its really becoming more of people just want to watch CS and not even play the game. At that point may as well just go look it up on youtube. If 5/9 and final coil get adjusted like t7 did then theres your story mode, if thats still too hard then people honestly just need to put a little time into getting better. By time SE would get around to putting a story mode in were all gonna be lv 60 and crazy over geared anyway. On a side note looking at this issue from a dev perspective, coil is done content. Allocating resources and server space to make/host even carbon copys of existing content that will be largely ignored afterwards seems fiscally irresponsible. Its better to dedicate time and money Alexander which has already been planned with the split people want.
TLDR: no point making coil story mode its too late and waste of time/money. By time SE can push it out players will be lv60/overgeared.

Really? people still want an easier t5? it was face roll with 5 percent echo and i90 its up to like 20 or so now and everyone is wearing 110 minimum. All i can say is damn... just damn

if your $15 can be spent on making final coil, why cant the casual people's $15 be spent on making easier coil??
I really don't think the argument of "this would take development time away from other content" is a valid one.
First of all, Turns 1-4 could essentially be left the same for a story mode. T5 wouldn't even be difficult to turn into a story mode fight:
Change fire from a death-wall to a regular wall.
Twisters/Dreads don't 1-shot, instead just deal a lot of damage.
Conflags deal much less damage.
Snakes die faster/don't apply vulnerability to players.
T5 with even just the removal of instant-death mechanics would be nearly impossible to wipe regardless of skill.
Making a 1st coil story mode wouldn't take anywhere near as much time/money as making an entire new raid like Alexander.
I'm personally not entirely sure how people are still stuck on T5 unless they just aren't trying it. I just don't see any real reason why a story mode version of it shouldn't exist just to allow very casual players to experience the storyline outside of Youtube.
Its simply as you say... had someone in a linkshell going I dont have T5 kill. I asked why she admitted after a bit only tried twice. Told her to try more and 3 days later when we talked she had her T5 kill with pugs ^^

One piece of content is added every 6 months that is challenging. Over the same 6 months everyone else gets easier accessible content. 6x4 man dungeons, a 24 peep puggable raid, 2xHildibrand quest chains, HM and Ex primals (Ex have been made easier since Titan Ex). Plus various other side content.
Also no-one is stopping anyone trying coil, no one is stopping players from any content, irrespective of difficulty. Only ones who are, are themselves. Extremely limited playtime? Then do what you have time for and accept that the less time you can devote to something, the less you will achieve. One of our static members plays ~ 3 hrs a night. Hasn't stopped us progressing.

They pay the $15 a month and get equal access to the game. How they play the game is their own choice.
Going by that logic, anyone that pays for a gym membership should automatically become buff/fit regardless of how hard they work.
