This game really doesn't need voice chat. It just makes it easy. When trying to join groups on PF have you tried talking with the people that are running them to see if they take you even without voice chat? Also might I ask how come you lack access to voice chat? No pc/android/apple device that you could run the client on?

But doing T9 or the other SCOB turns without TS is a pain, considering that you're going with a group of random people... since OP is refering to end-game, I'll asume he talks about the SCOB.

T9 is not that much difficult even without TS

Nah not a pain. We're doing T6 without voice chat even in pugs(since some members have unpredictable work schedules or are sick or are moving etc...). Our main issue is lack of experinece more than anything but last night without voice chat we got down to 15% on t6 then there was a bit of a messup - nothing that voice chat would have solved. It's mostly just people need to understand what's happening. As long as everyone understands the tactics involved in going through it. And yes macros can help.
