Not out of the realm of possibility, but still unlikely given that they'd have to be nuts not to check up on it after the flood of complaints coming from players :P

The flood of complaints has been constant since inception. If there was a new bug that made the drop rate half what it's supposed to be, the complaints would just get lost in the noise. It'd take a truly monumental amount of complaints to break through and make them notice.

And, y'know, they'd also have to be nuts to let a patch go live with something as fundamental as controller movement really obviously broken, so apparently they are nuts.

10 posts per page is only the default setting; it is bad, and you should feel bad if you haven't changed it.

The point stands given that they've purposefully addressed said complaints about atma by saying that the system can't be influenced by player good luck rituals.

However, they were indeed nuts to allow that controller movement bug to pass.
