Side Quest Reset

It's the one quest in Mor Dhona, not the one to unlock the dyes.
After you spoke to a NPC he send you to another NPC in Rowenas house. After you talked to this NPC (" Hey guy, the other guy is worried about you") you finished the quest and can then give him specific items to augment your AF.

I don't know why he think this is a DoH quest. In the whole quest no crafter is required. Getting the stuff for augments is also not required in the quest.

I guess one of my issues are with it is that I asked many about augmentation and many told me they never heard of or ever did that quest due to them not doing a doh class but if this quest was a normal side quest then I would be ok with it and not delete my character so I am trying to sort it out in my head before deciding. Now for Glamour I love that quest because I can buy the items needed and it doesn't require any doh or dol to get the items. Also if the 1st dye quest was part of the "Dye" quest chain to unlock it then I would probably have done it since I like to complete quest chains but I don't think that lvl 15 Dye quest is required to complete That simply to dye for quest so it is like a separate quest that is not of a chain?

This is in no way a crafter quest but unlocks the NPC that you can trade in Artifact armor Augmentation items that you can buy off the markets if you so choose and be able to dye your original AF pieces for glamour purposes. Like you could dye the PLD AF body a royal blue/black/red/etc.

You can look up the quest in question here, it shows that requirements for this quest is the one I mentioned "Color Your World"

Your thinking of the pre-req quest to the one he is talking about "Color Your World" is the one before this dealing with orange juice.

To OP if they didn't reset your level like you asked last time they aren't going to do it this time for a quest that you took and completed and then decided you didn't want anything to do with it. If you start over to by-pass this quest don't do the one I mentioned above as you will be unable to pick it up.

All you are doing is opening a vendor. That's it. No DoH, no fuss.

question, If I did dye a set black that would be cool someday but how would I be able to save the original artifact set that I replaced for the augmented piece?
Also I guess you guys are right since I enjoy the glamor system that also needs to be crafted by the appropriate class that I would buy the "grade" from on the market right? I mean since the grades that we need are crafted by doh classes then sold the same as the augmented items

p.s. I still am going to try to have them reset the quest since when I do talk to the npc that it opens an interface it gives me a crash to desktop. They said they cant help but idk

You'll lose the original piece once traded in for the Augmented version. But you can buy the original piece again from the Calamity Salvager (Old Gridania 9, 8; Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks 11, 14; Ul'dah - Steps Of Thak 11, 11) if you want.
