Primal Mounts As Chocobos Instead Of Horses

I feel like SE really dropped the ball on this one. One of the FF mainstays are chocobos but for whatever reason they decided we should have a plethora of horses. I just think about how amazing it would've been to see chocobos with the same effects as the primal mounts running around and how many people would REALLY want them over a horse in a FF game, I can't be the only one.

So with this not being likely to happen, I really hope to at least see a special "Gold" chocobo that has the "shimmer" effect from the primal horses hair around the ENTIRE chocobo to make it really stand out. Not necessarily the effect around the feet since that is more exaggerated.

Whether it is a long term Veteran Reward or a really special prize from Gold Saucer I hope at least something unique like that is implemented in the future.

I am really fine with horses, like the frontline mount. An actual horse with body armor, that's cool.

However, rainbow unicorns I have no clue why they even exist. At the moment, they are just a trophy drop so you can brag you have it. Most people I know say they like that they have it, but not particularly fond of them. However, this is subjective, I'm sure some people like them too. I just personally think mounts like the frontline horse, the ahriman mount and the dyeable chocobos looks much more "normal" in a fantasy game.

I mean, where do these rainbow unicorns came from anyway. Some parts of the world outside Eorzea, but dunno, it just came out of nowhere.

To get the cool gold chocobo you need to trade the 5 primal horses(not counting nightmare).
