    I come from dcuo where there is pve gear and pvp gear a while ago pve used to dominate pvp gear in pve but they changed that a long time ago now if you run pvp in pve (even high tier) gear you will lose. That is the way it should be in this game and it also gives more value to getting the high tier pvp gear in this game for another reason than just vanity

    I completely understand your (and many others') need to one-shot poor random noobs for the lulz, but I don't think you understand what that does to PVP as a whole. People that are new and and curious about PVP wouldn't want to go near it because they would get pulverized by 'elites' that already have Rank 1000 Everything. That would mean less people PVPing, longer ques, more crybaby threads on forums, etc. All you would end up with are those 'elites' with Rank 1000 Everything fighting each other over and over...which circles back to your complaint that everyone is on the same level, except this time with with longer que times and no new faces.

    If you understood how gear works in Frontlines, you wouldn't be on the same level as everyone else. You can have a pretty decent advantage by maximizing secondary stats, but 95% of players don't know or care to. It's the difference between MNK1 hitting for 80~ and MNK2 hitting for 180~. I know it's not the 'OGM I JUST RAPED THIS NAB IN ONE HIT' you were hoping for, but I think this system is much more fair. Regarding PVP Gear being useless, I agree and SE is working on a way to include it while somewhat keeping the balance.

    PvE Gear would still work in PvP.

    PvE Piece - 40 Str 30 Vit 30 Crit 30 Acc
    PvP Piece - 40 Morale 30 Vit 30 Crit 30 Det

    The PvP Piece is favorable b/c it doesn't have wasted points in Accuracy.

    However the PvE Piece is still viable as that 40 Str is identical to 40 Morale.

    Wear the PvP Piece in SCOB though & the Morale counts for nothing as it doesn't work in PvE.

    Main Stat works in both settings.

    Morale only works in PvP setting.

    Does this make sense now?

    Unfortunately, there are several flaws in you suggestion:

    1. You have ignored the Wolf Den. Morale is the dominated stat in ilvl50 WD. A ladder is in planning once the PvP population reaching to the ideal amount. Your idea will open a howl to ilvl110 PvE gear to find the way in.

    2. The scaling of morale to the primary stats. How well does it scale? Also, what is the impact of ilvl110 PvE gear? Keep in mind, PvP gear is always one tier behind.

    3. Morale is a stat in combine of PvP power and PvP Resilience. PvP resilience is much more superior than any sub stat. You are creating unfair advantage that they are on purposely to avoid at the first place.

    4. You under estimated the accuracy. While it may not be the same in FF14, both Rogue and Ninja are evasion based jobs. There is high chance to see increase in importance of evasion and accuracy.

    5. PvP gear is actually a good choice for War and PLD (with ilvl100 str accessories).

    I think I will wait until 2.4 first. PvP gear is fine for just being a ilvl50 WD set. Frontline, morale does not have a place. This is my personal opinion, please feel free to express yours

    ^^ILVL would be adjusted to be proper.
    ^^^My suggestion mentions removing the Resilience Component.
    ^^^^Accuracy is completely ineffective in PVP, believing it affects EVA% is incorrect.

    No offense, Prev3vial, if you just want attention, you certainly got it from making a lot of threads on general Fourm already, but your ideas usually are not appealing because you didn't think carefully. If you are really care about the matter that is it.

    Your idea of changing morale is pointless because no game developer will change the core mechanic just to make a set of gear more appealing. Morale might as well being removed if you are taking out resilience out of it lol

    They're already confirmed to be altering how Morale works.

    I have thought this through. The Dev's already intend to tweak it to make PVP Gear appealing in Frontlines somehow.

    This suggestion serves that purpose impeccably well.

    You have nothing to be counter. YoshiP said they have plan to change the PvP gear, not Morale. If you are insisting he has such plan, please provide reference to backup yourself.

    Your suggestion doesnt even make sense. If you are removing resilience out from of Morale and insisit to be scale with STR. What is the point of having Morale? It is more simple just removed morale once for all. You are only making it more complicate.
