:x If you walk away from a forum thread, its probably best to do just that...and not stop by for one last insult instead.
A true paladin... will sheathe his sword.
Thanks for this.
Anyway, I legitimately think it wouldn't take much for the Dev Team to implement this idea.
Arena's could be really simple, I'm more interested in getting them put in the game than having to have these crazy, ornate structures.
Codifying a PVP-active status to the Open-World, I doubt that would be too difficult.
And much of the tech for the PVP FATE's is in the game already.
Sure it'll take time as with anything, but I think it's for a worthy cause... better some kind of open-world PVP than none at all IMHO.
This is a generous compromise after all... not asking for entire dedicated PVP Servers or Zones which would require far more.
Just to make it clear for those who missed the clarification, this' not instanced content that you queue for.
What do you all think? This' still the best compromise out there I think.
Also allows for PVP FATE's which' the best part.
I would be totally fine with any addition to PvP that would allow for it while not forcing it on me. I might even participate in some of it; I hated the Wolf's Den, but Frontlines is surprisingly fun when you get a good group. Even losing is fun when it's a good, even match (admit it, it's more fun when the other side doesn't just roll over and die immediately).
I just don't want this game to turn into Aion, where you couldn't go ten feet in some areas after about level 20 without some level 50 jerk stabbing you in the face...I don't really understand why anyone would find that fun, and I don't want to be part of any game that would encourage that sort of behavior.
