Unless the PS4 starts selling better in Japan, it will be a while before the PS3 gets dropped. Vita and 3DS outsell PS4, and its numbers have been shrinking. It was even outsold by Wii U for many weeks recently. (The only thing its beating in Japan is XB1, and Microsoft has never had any success in Japan).

This is only due to a lack of games in japan and such but as TGS has shown by next summer i expect ps4 to start selling more
