Relic and glows

I prefer weapons that, if they glow, do so subtly. I like the nexus designs...but to me they don't fit well in the world. I like to think of Eorzea kind of like Middle Earth as portrayed in the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy. Magic is very much there, but it isn't over the top like in so many fantasy settings. I feel like the relic's glow is starting to get out of hand for Eorzea. The design looks great, but just not for this setting.

Be glad the aetheral failsafes and emergency cooling measures are in place for such a big glow.

There was this one guy that failed to get the proper precautions on his relic. He liked the glow so much, he wanted to "overclock" it.

We were doing Ramuh EX and we were at like 6% left so we told him (monk) to go ahead and limit break. It seemed a tiny crack had begun to form in his fist weapon nexus's.

I despise the glow effects. I would much rather a beautifully ornate and unique weapon redesign. OR, a way to turn off glow effects.
