Is there a problem with Summoners getting Atma?

My main is Summoner and I have been doing every possible strategy to get atma for six months and only got one. I have noticed that other jobs (particularly bard) have a significantly easier time getting atma than I seem too. I know that summoner is partly broken because no dps check considers the status effects, but would this problem also occur with atma?

Just make sure you have your relic equipped and the job doesn't affect the drop rate.
I think BRD is easier bcoz... in low lv fate, BRD is the best (easier) to kill enough mob in the shortest time. ^^;

As long as you tag the FATE with Aero or Ruin II, you'll get bronze rating and that's enough to qualify you for an atma.

Welcome to the pain that is RNG. I have done nearly 800 fates wearing a Zenith weapons and gotten 4 stones. While several members of my FC have completed ATMA in less than 500 hundred fates.

I almost solo every fate for both my atma and books, it was very very painful as b4 the fate nerf, bosses had too much hp.

I dont think class/job affects ATMA drop rate (of course it won't ,that would be Imbalance!)

Not sure how you get only 1 ATMA / 6months of farming. I get mine 12 ATMA in 2 days. (yes its before 2.4 patch), and sure there are lots of ppl out there get their 12 ATMA within a week.

I feel that it boil downs to how EFFECTIVELY you farm FATEs. Some ppl farm 1-10 FATES/day- for 3months- still counts. Some farm 10-20FATEs /Hour. Thats a huge differences.

But nvm, do not give up, coming patch will increase ATMA drop rate.

I completed my atma with aprox 300 fates as a scholar.

SMN is actually quite easy to run FATEs for - I've gathered all my sets on SMN - tag everything with Bio and let Garuda do the rest of the work - EZPZ
