Duty Roulette vs Regular Dungeon

Hi, so I do the Duty Roulette everyday to get the bonus. Afterwards, I usually just stay queued for the highest dungeon I can. I haven't been able to find a website that lists the EXP for each dungeon if you just queue for them regularly. So my question is, even if the bonus is expired, would it be better to still use the Duty Roulette (I am DPS, so wouldn't get the healer/tank bonus), or just keep queuing for the highest level dungeon I can?

I am leveling right now and I have tried both methods. I have noticed that doing Duty Roulette vs highest level dungeon, the highest level dungeon yields the most experience. The experience reward from the duty roulette is small compared to the experience that the mobs drop, another thing that I have noticed is that with the duty roulette you will always get the pre-25 dungeons, think TamTara, Copperbell, Ifrit boss fight, this means that your getting less experience.

My advice is to use the highest level dungeon. Do not forget to get rested experience and use food, if able try and make a full clear (clear whole dungeon), this way you will get alot of experience.

The higher level dungeons will reward more XP, and as you have noticed, the higher level you are the more XP needed to level-up. The Dungeon Roulette adds a bonus to your XP, depending on the level of the dungeon you get, that essentially makes up for any XP you would have gained otherwise. For example, if the highest dungeon you could queue for was Cutter's Cry (Lv38), and your roulette gave you Cutter's Cry, the roulette bonus would be very small, but if roulette gave you Sastasha (Lv15), then the bonus would be very large.

To answer your question, it would be more XP to queue for your highest level dungeon when you've already gotten your roulette bonus. If your under level 24 or so (and don't have many dungeons unlocked) then your roulette may be faster, as you will have a shorter queue time, while the XP difference at that level is minimal. To reduce queue times a bit, you might also consider queuing for your top 2 dungeons.

When leveling, it's best to do your Dailies first, Low level and guildhest, then Q up for you highest two duties you can. While you wait for those to pop, if you're on DPS, do Leve's, hunting log, marks, fates, etc.
