Welcome to another round of Eorzea's Next Top Model (C2)!

Last round, 10 models cooled off next to one of the many waterfalls across Eorzea.
Unfortunately, Ronberku and Kaelah got a little too close and were washed down stream! ...I'm sure they're fine!

Now, only 8 Models remain...

This round, our models were tasked with posing next to their Company Chocobo!
A free-style photoshoot, the only rule being they must be standing with their company chocobo. Riding was not allowed. Legacy and Dual Rider Chocobo were not allowed. Gear of both the Chocobo and Model were up to them, as was weather, time of day, and location!

This round will end on September 29 at 11pm central. Resubmissions are due before then!

CYCLE 3 WILL BEGIN CASTING OCTOBER 4th! There will be TWO Casts, all female and all male, and the two will be merged once we have our Final 3 of each! I will also be casting a Youtube version (with no fan input, only Judges) for an experiment. Casting will require 3 submissions, so start practicing your battle shots, scenic shots, and outfit coordinating! ^^

Now that I'm out of the competition. I can finally do this. *puts on his judge costume*

Ciara: No words to truely describe such beauty and serenity. Wait...I just did...Anyway, I love everything from the gorgeous elezen, the matching blue colors that contrast against orange sunset sky. Also hat off for being able to take a screenshot when the chocobo is blinking. Makes it feel like he's tenderly nuzzling and "purring" against you.

Vahn: As much as I hate you as my male elezen competition lol. I have to say that this is another of your awesome screenshots. The matching armors, colors and the badass pose all connect perfectly together. And luckily you went for a clear background, which was a wise decision as it makes both you and your chocobo pop out. You're my succesor now. I'm expecting great feats from you!...Doesn't change that I still hate you D: (just kidding off course...maybe)

Maxwell: "...What was that noise?! Did you hear that choco!" "Kweh!" A lalafel to my taste. You've been my favorite one during most of this competition. By showing sides of a lalafell that even I didn't know about. And you're doing another great job at it this time as well. It feels like the pair of mages venturing somewhere before getting startled by an eerie sound from somewhere. Watch out for Edda!

Kurri: My first pick was you, but at the same time I was hesitant to pick you over Yunie. I'll start first by why I obviously picked this. Great setup of the chocobos + minions, making it appear as you're taking care of them all. Also I laughed at capturing the sleeping one. And now for the reason why I was hesitant. I have no clue which chocobo is yours. Or if she's even in there. That could be your chocobo minion on the screen, while others are there to help you. But I'm willing to let it pass, because it resulted in a great screenshot. Keep it up.



Why I didn't pick the others

Jayzan: Good lightning with the flame and I love how you made it look like an alchemist wandering around with his chocobo carrying the potions and his trusty book of knowledge. But the background is what is making the entire thing feel less interesting. If it had only rained, you'd have a shine wet chocobo and roegadyn warming themselves near a fire.

Kin: The screenshot is a bit too simple, safe and plain. It seems to be a bit reoccuring as of late. Try to spice things up. Pan the camera around, play around with emotes or try to tell a story.

Tinsley: Nice choice of outfit + emote. And good choice of making it contrast with your chocobo. But the light of the fire off-screen is messing up with this great picture you worked so hard to get right. The sudden orange hue is overthrowing the entire opposite contrasts you were going for. This shot might have also worked better in the night with a moon in the sky.

Yunie: It's a great shot. The moon shining through the leafs and the matching of colors work well. But I just liked the others more. Perhaps if she was relaxing against her chocobo, that it would have been upvoted for me.
