Suggestion: Story Mode End Game Content.

Like the title says my suggestion for the game is a new mode: Story Mode.

It has been done in another game, World of Warcraft under the title LFR, Looking for Raid to much success.

This mode would go perfectly with this game and would solve two problems.

1) It would allow players to enjoy the story that the designers put forth. This mode should drop no gear, be much easier content and be solely for the experience of the game. This would be perfect for Duty Finder groups.

2) It would allow a new naming convention. Currently when a new primal is introduced it is called Hard Mode. Were Leviathan and Ramuh Hard Mode really hard? No they weren't. But they had to be called that because of when they were introduced into the game. Having the new Story Mode will allow for easier content to be called what it is.

I know that this can not be implemented for 2.4, but please consider this going forward and possibly into the next expansion.

Well primals don't really need an easier mode tbh, but I would like it for Coil. I actually like the raids but with the lockout and me not trying them for a long time I am left behind until they are put in duty finder, and I honestly don't think scob will be as doable as T1-T4 are. I'd like to at least experience the story.

For the primals I'm mainly talking about new ones added. Ifrit, Titan, and Garuda didn't start with HM because they were considered part of the story. Ramuh and Leviathan weren't so they defaulted to Hard Mode because everyone was so geared.

But I agree, mainly I'm recommending it for end game content that people don't get to see because they don't have a Static, or a FC that does content. The addage, you can't do a Party Finder group until you have completed the content, but how can you defeat the content if no one is willing to take you.

During TGS Yoshi mentioned he might consider adding a story only version of coil after coil story is wrapped up. You can do a PF group even if you don't complete the content. Just start it on your own and start finding people that work well with you... get a linkshell going so you have a poll of people to pick from(and in turn they from you). Invite people you meet and you see are good into that LS.
