On primals, IF seems to be winning about 80% of the time now. This is based on the last 3 days only. Went to adder to PvP with some friends at the wrong time haha. Thanks Adders for the one 1st place, four 2nd places, and nine 3rd place victories! I thought IF was bad back then but Adders now are just horrendous. Whenever I'm A or C, there is always, and I repeat always, at least a minimum of THREE people not with their party. I don't know if this is some sort of strategy Adders is doing but it's pretty ass.

Based on the replies, you can clearly seeing a pattern: everyone's online gaming experience is different. Some is saying Flame is bad, some is saying Adder is bad. I found this video, the content is irreverent to the Ff14 Frontline, but I find what he said kinda make sense:

With the influx of new players, it's very frustrating on "veterans" to be paired with new people over and over and over again. The main problem here is, FL is too complex for new pvp'rs. Yeah, it's not very complex, but it' seems that tactics are just too hard for the vast majority of new players, it really seems to take them far too long to get used to.

yea and this. when it comes to pvp in the mmo world, no one flocks to ffxiv. ijs. it just isn't known for it. so the majority of players who come to pvp are people who probably haven't even played bgs before in any game so they come in there clueless. the majority of people who are familiar with bgs have already left because there is no way in hell FL is able to keep their attention for this long. i don't even see the good and regular players on Primal anymore, now the list is full of names i don't even recognize.

You need to watch times and players you get stuck with. Number 3 and 5 for your Data Center rankings are flames and with over 40% win. I have some wonky work schedules. During the day my win % is well over 80 most weeks. On nights and weekends i am 80% of the time in 3rd.

Also on some data centers some GC que premades. Are you checking to see if 8+ people are from the same server. Or like the evil adders from Balmung and a few other servers all dressed in yellow.

no I don't usually check the players list but that would explain why the adders have an alliance with all batds as dps's

Its probably been mentioned before but the skill level of the players participating in frontline for each grand company varies by time frame. Yes the flames are perpetual last place bottom dwellers during the day (from my experience playing on weekends around 1 pm to 9 pm eastern) but they seem to become more coordinated if you play really late (midnight onwards eastern). Oddly enough though the primal data center versions of the flames have this odd fixation with claiming the maelstrom OP regardless of the time of day and regardless of whether or not we are in first place. Maelstrom can be in second and 200 points behind adders and flames will still try to press maelstrom by taking OP instead of actually playing for the win. Shouldnt come as a surprise I guess since I think adder and flames probably both consider maelstrom to be their biggest threat (adders themselves seem to ALWAYS double up manor at the start of every match).
