Alright so while I was banned from the forums I decided to run brayfox for some time and I love it but I have some questions about magitek and the future of magitek. so I guess my first question is when did the goblins learn how to build magitek machines and will the Illuminati make an appearance again in not just dungeons? also since they discovered how to make these magitek machines are the city states and gcs going to learn how to build these machines armor and weapons? if they do will the appearances of these things be different or the same? hopefully different..will cid finally share his knowledge about magitek with everyone? and will other beast men tribes develop their own Magitek things? I love magitek

They probably reverse-engineered it from damaged and abandon Garlean machines. Between 1.# and 2.# we've destroyed a veritable standing army's worth of Garlean arms. The fact we don't have Garlean rifle wall furnishings is more surprising than goblins tooling around in magitech.

that is one possibility , but why can't any of the city states do hat I mean there is dead magitek machines everywhere but instead of studying them we just let them rust

Technological development is not a one way street, various branches develop independent of eachother. Garleans for example have no caster classes.

Signifers are thaumaturgs so they definitly have casters, i'm not sure about WHm (don't remeber figthing them) and they definitly lack Arcanists but Thaumaturgh is there.
