PLEASE HELP

I'm working on my animus and have a very confusing problem. During my work on the Book of Skyfall 1, I'm tasked the leve "Necrologos: Whispers of the Gem". This leve requires an item that drops 100% of the time in the "sister-leve" Necrologos: The Noctambulist. The Noctambulist is a lvl25 leve given by Esmond, who is found in Little Ala Mhigo. MY PROBLEM is that this leve being offered at all. I've even grabbed 5 leves fom him, finished just one, turned in, and still haven't seen The Noctambulist ( I did this for an hour, so don't tell me "Just do more."). If you can help me, that'd be more than awesome.

Have you tried just going to do Whispers of the Gem? AFAIK, no battlecraft or fieldcraft leve requires any external items. If you read somewhere that this one required something external, pretty sure that information is wrong and/or outdated.

I have, but Whispers of the Gem requires a dropped scroll according to the wiki site and numerous other sources.

Which wiki page? If the scroll you're talking about is the Soiled Necrologos Page, that drops during the leve itself. Pretty much all the Necrologos leves work the same way; they either have these pages lying around when you start the leve and you pick them up, or the pages drop off of leve mobs you kill.

That I don't know. It's usually only taken me one or two pick-up/turn-ins to get the one I'm looking for to show up, but it is random, so you might just be getting horribly unlucky.

The Lore behind the Animus books is that you're walking the path of the Zodiac Braves. Obviously you can't travel through time and do the exact Trials these individuals did but you can come as close as possible. Therefore you purchase the books that detail the Trials and complete tasks that mirror the actual Trials as closely as possible. Jalzahn isn't even sure any of it will work. You're basically part of his crazy experiment.

for all battlecraft, fieldcraft, mastercraft (or whatever crafter leves are called) it is so that if you complete all the, for example, level 10 leves - same levemete will give you 1-2 different leves of level 10. As I remember many leves from books didn't show up on levemete's list until you completed other leves of same level.
