I love this idea, where ever you placed you fairy it should always make it a priority to stay in that spot.

As for the OP It like any other pet. You tell it to stay it will stay there and not move an inch until you command it, if well trained . Just means your a bad owner lol. I forget a lot to so I'm not putting anyone on the spot. Maybe a text can come up when you are about to be at max range or don't have the fairy disappear at all. If you can see you party members from a distance your fairy should also stay
