    Greetings, everyone!

    We're pleased to announce the special NA Fan Festival edition of the Letter from the Producer LIVE is set to cover even more ground regarding Patch 2.4! This next Live Letter will take place during the Las Vegas Fan Festival, with specific timing and details to be announced!

    In this thread we'd like you to specifically pose the Final Coil of Bahamut.

    Is it possible to have a T13 Bahamut fight with an alliance system with each alliance taking different parts of It's body and then fighting It's essance?

    will Final Coil feature multiple turns like previous Coils? Or will we stop at T10 with the final battle?

    The DPS checks of T5 and T9 feel quite out of place, will we have something that feels more in place this time?

    Can we have artwork spoilers for the boss in the final coil pls? And by the love of the Twelve, would you be willing to remove the notorious "MORE PUNISHING PENALTY for REAL HIGH DPS party"mechanic?

    With the Second Coil of Bahamut, there seemed to be a big theme going on with requiring a lot of personal responsibilities for each player going into the fights. that is, it's up to each individual player to know how to handle an applied debuff appropriately (T6-floral Trap/Devour, T7 - Cursed Voice/Shreik, T8- Allagan Field, T9 - too many to list). Will this theme continue into the next coil or will there be a new type of aspect that you will be pushing this time around.

    Is it possible that the teamwork/resource type gameplay we saw with Ramuh was a precursor for what to expect in the near future.

    How many turns will there be in the Final Coil? Five like the first coil, or four like the second coil?

    For the second coil of Bahamut (and its Savage version) there was an emphasis on high DPS primarily to beat enrage timers or push phases in a favorable way. Tanks and healers were also encouraged to value DPS over performing and gearing to their intended roles.

    Will the encounters in the third/final coil put more focus on tanking/healing and their respective roles, and/or can we expect encounters that put a lesser emphasis on average raid DPS.

    While the understanding of not removing lock out is to prevent "carries" through the content for loot, it feels like the 2.3 patch contradicts that with the hunts and the easier access for Coil-level gear. If this trend is to continue where one-patch ahead introduces easier access to gear and two-patch ahead unlocks the lockout, can we just simply not have a strict lockout for Coil and opt for a loot lockout or an alternative method for distributing loot instead? It's frustrating to force people into groups of 8 and having to either accommodate for stray members or straight up telling them that they can't progress in the game with their current FC. The introduction of Savage difficulty or making the fights difficult enough should be an ample gate for players that wish to put their skills to the test. The excuse of not distributing high level gear freely is not cutting it for both the casual and the hardcore players, especially if people can get their needs in a future patch.
