FC Suggestions: Co-Ownership and Regarding FC Master "Activity"

Suggestion 1: All founding members should have an equal privilege as the FC master.

Reason: An FC cannot be created by one in-game character. If a person wants to create an FC by himself, he can make multiple characters for is. But the point is, if it is an FC that is created by different people, then the FC founding members should have equal privileges. Even if not the permissions for making changes within the FC, at least the founding members -should not- be KICK-able by the "FC master".

Suggestion 2: Free log-in periods and similar campaigns should not count towards an FC master's ownership/activity of the Free Company. Additionally, a not-subscribed FC master should not be able to make major changes to the rank hierarchy or member permissions, much less kick people out.

Reason: This really screwed us up. The FC master's ownership was about to expire that week (which would put the ownership to one of the active members who were actually PAYING to play the game), but then FREE LOG-IN! And he just kicked almost everyone out. Except for his brother.

Suggestion 3: There should be a penalty to the FC or FC master/leaders for kicking a Member who has purchased a Personal Room in an FC House.

Reason: FC masters and leaders should be aware of the people that they invite into their FC. There is a reason why ranks can be customized; they can just assign a limited rank to newcomers. But in case the FC master has a disagreement (or any little quirk) with a member, who had already been allowed to buy a room for 300k gil, then the FC master can just go ahead and kick that person according to his whim? An FC master doesn't even need a valid reason to kick members out. He can just do whatever. This makes the FC feature a very unstable environment, and only encourages one-person FCs or large FCs with big names (though the latter isn't safe either if the FC master goes insane and kicks everyone out either).

Very long reason ahead, you don't have to read.

Everything that is in the current Free Company policy, despite FFXIV Support Team having assured me that an FC Master is not "God" in his FC, all signs point to just that. Within his FC, he can do anything. He can harass, demean, belittle everyone in his FC, including founding members, and all FFXIV will say is that "Look for another FC". While this is the logical solution, it does not take away from the FACT that indeed an FC MASTER is ALL-POWERFUL in his FC. The members, even the founders, cannot do anything to prevent it and FFXIV won't intervene either.

I/My current FC members who were part of an old FC whose FC master has gone... let's say "rogue", do not want this unfortunate thing to happen to other FCs and their members. The FC master of the former FC kicked everyone out but his IRL brother. They both DO NOT play FFXIV now and were only able to log-in during the Free Log-In period during which the Kicking happened.

Some issues arose around June and they escalated around July, after which I left the FC because of what FFXIV Support told me (Just leave the FC if you don't want to be harassed). I moved on and made my own FC, while the rest of the members thought it would be over when the FC master and his brother became inactive. Then suddenly, when FFXIV made that week-long Free Log In campaign, the FC master just logged in without a word and kicked every single one of the members (even his IRL friend and a peson that he personally invited let into the FC before) except for his brother.

The FC owns a house and the purchasing price was evenly contributed by FIVE active members (including myself), and then the housing permit was purchased by me and two others (NOT the FC master or his brother). The house was also mostly furnished by me and the two others, because the FC master and his brother were barely active). Between work and gaming, it took us half a year to earn gil for that house. I am not going to gripe about the prices or how the house was lost to us, but the obvious harassment that has happened and how nothing is being done about it.

The most that I can do now is to leave this suggestion thread so that no other player might suffer the same fate. /end

Note you can edit your first post to go beyond the 1000 char limit. As for the issue... I agree with most of this.
