I really hope we do see these designs at some point. I also hope whatever gear is coming in 2.4 isn't ugly like some of the Soldiery was (Daystar and Noct Loria, I'm looking at you).

i do hope that the 2.4 gears from the new tomes will be this one, you seems to miss a point, this stuff is inspired from the other ff... i will prefer that the true AF are someone original from FF14 instead to reuse the old design.
Daystar and Scylla weren't so bad. I'm struggling to point out a bad-looking Healer gear except for... I dunno, Strategos maybe.
Darklight, CT.
Also everything but the head is Ok on Scylla set if you have a female char, The head though, is as bad as the entire Evenstar pieces combined.
Im surprised nobody mentioned DL Tank gear as one of the worst looking sets, yet.
I hated the Darklight Tank gear especially since they are pieces that take multiple slots. I hate wearing helmets and I just couldn't stand that and all the other multislot tank gears.
Maybe my fashion sense is not as acute but I find nothing wrong with Royal or Darklight Healing sets.
Well except that Darklight can't be glamoured onto anything because it doesn't have a head.
... Hey, what if AF2 is actually TCoB gear?
That wouldn't be very logic, unless FFXIV's Bahamut is a fusion of all the Bahamuts of the FF games and they all went berzerk and killed the old heroes to take their clothes and that would be why we could find them there !
The amount of complaining on these very forums would be amazing.
9 different sets in the loot pool would be kind of gross with RNG (like HA weapons but worse). I mean I guess they could use a token system with more than one class on a token.
