So running low level DF I have often found that parties (or just some tanks) tend to gather multiple trash groups together before stopping and wiping them out. Normally playing heals, I haven't had much problem keeping anyone alive, but I tend to have to spam heals and nothing else. This typically isn't an issue (unless hate starts flying around every which way) but I always question if it is really helpful/faster to do trash mobs this way?

Logically, won't it still take the same amount of time to burn equal amounts of mob hp? Plus, when I don't have to spam heals I always will join in the dps fun. Wouldn't that be more beneficial than if I am constantly pumping cure? I guess I'm just asking if there is a reason for this or if I should just "meh, lolDF" and blow it off.
